Kragujevac, 14 February – MaxBet paid a visit to the University Clinical Center in Kragujevac today and donated 15 LG televisions to the Center for Radiation Oncology.
“First and foremost, I would like to express our gratitude to MaxBet for this timely donation. Patients who spend even several months at the Center for Radiation Oncology have not had televisions in their rooms until now. Thanks to this donation, their stay will be much more pleasant during therapy. So far, there has been only one room in the department with a single television, which some patients could not access due to being either in a severely immobile or non-mobile state,” emphasized Dr Vladan Popović, the deputy director of the Center for Radiation Oncology at the University Clinical Center Kragujevac.
MaxBet continuously strives to create better conditions for those in need through socially responsible business practices.
“We are aware of the fact that people staying at the Center for Radiation Oncology are facing significant life challenges, and our desire is to make their time spent there more pleasant. MaxBet places great emphasis on promoting the concept of socially responsible business, and we will continue to contribute to improving the quality of life in our country through various activities, concrete assistance, and donations,” stated Goran Samolovac from MaxBet.
In addition to various forms of assistance to hospitals, MaxBet has been successfully conducting a voluntary blood drive called “Life is Blood” across Serbia for six years, with the participation of its employees.
