Data Engineer (m/f)
City: Belgrade

Key responsibilities:
• Structure data and create database schemas that reflect business needs and data interrelationships.
• Design, build, and maintain efficient and reliable data pipelines using tools like PySpark and Glue.
• Extract, transform, and integrate data from various sources, ensuring data accuracy and consistency.
• Maintain database infrastructure to keep data accessible and systems performant.
• Identify and resolve performance issues in data models and queries.
• Implement and maintain streaming data processes using Kinesis and PyFlink.
• Collaborate with different teams to ensure the availability of data necessary for business decision-making.
• Proactively identify sensitive data and implementing security measures.
• Build internal tools to ensure data quality and identify deficiencies.


Zahtevi

Our requirements:
• Skills in Python, SQL, and PySpark.
• Experience with AWS services such as Amazon S3, Amazon Redshift, Amazon Glue, Amazon Lambda, Amazon DMS, Amazon DynamoDB, Amazon Kinesis, and others.
• Familiarity with AWS Lambda for serverless architectures.
• Advanced SQL knowledge for data management and query optimization.
• Experience in database modelling and maintenance
• Experience with DynamoDB (or another document-based NoSQL database).
• Understanding in working with data warehouses, especially Amazon Redshift.
• Using ETL tools like AWS Glue, with experience in Spark.
• Knowledge of Java or Scala for script and application development is a plus.
