Data Security Analyst

The Data Security Analyst is responsible for the protection and security of the company's data, both those stored internally and those stored in cloud environments. This role involves data analysis, monitoring security threats, analyzing Data Loss Prevention (DLP) reports, as well as participating in the definition of data backup and recovery strategies. Additionally, the Data Security Analyst plays a significant role in designing the concept of IT resilience and disaster recovery (DR) plans.

• Analyze DLP reports to identify potential threats and incidents.
  
• Define and update data protection policies and rules based on analyses, business needs, and best practices.
  
• Collaborate with the team implementing DLP solutions and provide feedback for system improvement.
  
• Ensure the security of data stored in cloud environments by designing appropriate security measures.
  
• Monitor and evaluate cloud providers to ensure compliance with security standards and regulations.
  
• Implement encryption techniques to protect data in transit and at rest in the cloud.
  
• Participate in planning and designing data backup and recovery strategies.
  
• Participate in regular testing of backup procedures to ensure effectiveness and resilience in the event of catastrophic events.
  
• Monitor and report on the status of data backup and recovery.
  
• Create and maintain a register of all company information assets.
  
• Regularly update the register to ensure data accuracy and comprehensiveness.
  
• Develop and implement policies for classifying data based on their sensitivity and value.
  
• Educate employees on proper data classification and handling.
  
• Regularly monitor relevant security systems and tools to identify and respond to potential threats.
  
• Analyze security events and incidents to identify weaknesses and recommend measures to improve data security.
  
• Ensure that all aspects of data security meet relevant legal and regulatory requirements.
  
• Prepare and maintain records necessary for auditing and reviewing security practices.
  
• Develop and implement education and awareness programs for employees on data security policies and procedures.
  
• Organize training and workshops for employees on best practices in data security.
  
• Participate in designing IT resilience concepts and disaster recovery plans in data protection.
  
• Participate in defining controls and procedures for data protection within the IT resilience strategy.
  
• Participate in testing disaster recovery plans and analyzing the results.
  
• Collaborate with relevant teams to ensure the effectiveness of disaster recovery plans.
  
• Regularly report on identified data risks, incidents related to data availability, confidentiality, or integrity.
  
• Regularly report on the status of data security in the cloud and with third parties.
  
• Report on the status of backups and recovery tests.
  
• Report on compliance with external and internal regulations and the status of data protection according to their classification.
